أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ
Aitha mitna wakunna turaban waAAithaman ainna lamabAAoothoona
When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected
Verse 16أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ
Awaabaona alawwaloona
And our forefathers [as well]
Verse 17قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ
Qul naAAam waantum dakhiroona
Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible
Verse 18فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَإِذَا هُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ
Fainnama hiya zajratun wahidatun faitha hum yanthuroona
It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing
Verse 19وَقَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ
Waqaloo ya waylana hatha yawmu alddeeni
They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense
Verse 20هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
Hatha yawmu alfasli allathee kuntum bihi tukaththiboona
[They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny
Verse 21۞ٱحۡشُرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَأَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ
Ohshuroo allatheena thalamoo waazwajahum wama kanoo yaAAbudoona
[The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship
Verse 22مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
Min dooni Allahi faihdoohum ila sirati aljaheemi
Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire
Verse 23وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسۡـُٔولُونَ
Waqifoohum innahum masooloona
And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned
Verse 24مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ
Ma lakum la tanasaroona
[They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other
Verse 25بَلۡ هُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مُسۡتَسۡلِمُونَ
Bal humu alyawma mustaslimoona
But they, that Day, are in surrender
Verse 26وَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
Waaqbala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin yatasaaloona
And they will approach one another blaming each other
Verse 27قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَأۡتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ
Qaloo innakum kuntum tatoonana AAani alyameeni
They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right
Verse 28قَالُواْ بَل لَّمۡ تَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ
Qaloo bal lam takoonoo mumineena
The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers
Verse 29وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيۡكُم مِّن سُلۡطَٰنِۭۖ بَلۡ كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمٗا طَٰغِينَ
Wama kana lana AAalaykum min sultanin bal kuntum qawman tagheena
And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people
Verse 30فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡنَا قَوۡلُ رَبِّنَآۖ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ
Fahaqqa AAalayna qawlu rabbina inna lathaiqoona
So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]
Verse 31فَأَغۡوَيۡنَٰكُمۡ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ
Faaghwaynakum inna kunna ghaweena
And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators
Verse 32فَإِنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُشۡتَرِكُونَ
Fainnahum yawmaithin fee alAAathabi mushtarikoona
So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment
Verse 33إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
Inna kathalika nafAAalu bialmujrimeena
Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals
Verse 34إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ
Innahum kanoo itha qeela lahum la ilaha illa Allahu yastakbiroona
Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant
Verse 35وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓاْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٖ مَّجۡنُونِۭ
Wayaqooloona ainna latarikoo alihatina lishaAAirin majnoonin
And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet
Verse 36بَلۡ جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
Bal jaa bialhaqqi wasaddaqa almursaleena
Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers
Verse 37إِنَّكُمۡ لَذَآئِقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَلِيمِ
Innakum lathaiqoo alAAathabi alaleemi
Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment
Verse 38وَمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
Wama tujzawna illa ma kuntum taAAmaloona
And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do
Verse 39إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
Illa AAibada Allahi almukhlaseena
But not the chosen servants of Allah
Verse 40أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ رِزۡقٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ
Olaika lahum rizqun maAAloomun
Those will have a provision determined
Verse 41فَوَٰكِهُ وَهُم مُّكۡرَمُونَ
Fawakihu wahum mukramoona
Fruits; and they will be honored
Verse 42فِي جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
Fee jannati alnnaAAeemi
In gardens of pleasure
Verse 43عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ
AAala sururin mutaqabileena
On thrones facing one another
Verse 44يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِكَأۡسٖ مِّن مَّعِينِۭ
Yutafu AAalayhim bikasin min maAAeenin
There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring
Verse 45بَيۡضَآءَ لَذَّةٖ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ
Baydaa laththatin lilshsharibeena
White and delicious to the drinkers
Verse 46لَا فِيهَا غَوۡلٞ وَلَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا يُنزَفُونَ
La feeha ghawlun wala hum AAanha yunzafoona
No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated
Verse 47وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ عِينٞ
WaAAindahum qasiratu alttarfi AAeenun
And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes
Verse 48كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيۡضٞ مَّكۡنُونٞ
Kaannahunna baydun maknoonun
As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected
Verse 49فَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
Faaqbala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin yatasaaloona
And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other
Verse 50قَالَ قَآئِلٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٞ
Qala qailun minhum innee kana lee qareenun
A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth]
Verse 51يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصَدِّقِينَ
Yaqoolu ainnaka lamina almusaddiqeena
Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe
Verse 52أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ
Aitha mitna wakunna turaban waAAithaman ainna lamadeenoona
That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed
Verse 53قَالَ هَلۡ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ
Qala hal antum muttaliAAoona
He will say, "Would you [care to] look
Verse 54فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِي سَوَآءِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
FaittalaAAa faraahu fee sawai aljaheemi
And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire
Verse 55قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرۡدِينِ
Qala taAllahi in kidta laturdeeni
He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me
Verse 56وَلَوۡلَا نِعۡمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَ
Walawla niAAmatu rabbee lakuntu mina almuhdareena
If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]
Verse 57أَفَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ
Afama nahnu bimayyiteena
Then, are we not to die
Verse 58إِلَّا مَوۡتَتَنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
Illa mawtatana aloola wama nahnu bimuAAaththabeena
Except for our first death, and we will not be punished
Verse 59إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
Inna hatha lahuwa alfawzu alAAatheemu
Indeed, this is the great attainment
Verse 60لِمِثۡلِ هَٰذَا فَلۡيَعۡمَلِ ٱلۡعَٰمِلُونَ
Limithli hatha falyaAAmali alAAamiloona
For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work
Verse 61أَذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ نُّزُلًا أَمۡ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ
Athalika khayrun nuzulan am shajaratu alzzaqqoomi
Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum
Verse 62إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهَا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
Inna jaAAalnaha fitnatan lilththalimeena
Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers
Verse 63إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٞ تَخۡرُجُ فِيٓ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
Innaha shajaratun takhruju fee asli aljaheemi
Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire
Verse 64طَلۡعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ
TalAAuha kaannahu ruoosu alshshayateeni
Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils
Verse 65فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَأٓكِلُونَ مِنۡهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَ
Fainnahum laakiloona minha famalioona minha albutoona
And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies
Verse 66ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبٗا مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ
Thumma inna lahum AAalayha lashawban min hameemin
Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water
Verse 67ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرۡجِعَهُمۡ لَإِلَى ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
Thumma inna marjiAAahum laila aljaheemi
Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire
Verse 68إِنَّهُمۡ أَلۡفَوۡاْ ءَابَآءَهُمۡ ضَآلِّينَ
Innahum alfaw abaahum dalleena
Indeed they found their fathers astray
Verse 69فَهُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمۡ يُهۡرَعُونَ
Fahum AAala atharihim yuhraAAoona
So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps
Verse 70وَلَقَدۡ ضَلَّ قَبۡلَهُمۡ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
Walaqad dalla qablahum aktharu alawwaleena
And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples
Verse 71وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ
Walaqad arsalna feehim munthireena
And We had already sent among them warners
Verse 72فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ
Faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu almunthareena
Then look how was the end of those who were warned
Verse 73إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
Illa AAibada Allahi almukhlaseena
But not the chosen servants of Allah
Verse 74وَلَقَدۡ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٞ فَلَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمُجِيبُونَ
Walaqad nadana noohun falaniAAma almujeeboona
And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders
Verse 75وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
Wanajjaynahu waahlahu mina alkarbi alAAatheemi
And We saved him and his family from the great affliction
Verse 76وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ
WajaAAalna thurriyyatahu humu albaqeena
And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]
Verse 77وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
Watarakna AAalayhi fee alakhireena
And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations
Verse 78سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٖ فِي ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Salamun AAala noohin fee alAAalameena
Peace upon Noah among the worlds
Verse 79إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Inna kathalika najzee almuhsineena
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good
Verse 80إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Innahu min AAibadina almumineena
Indeed, he was of Our believing servants
Verse 81ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ
Thumma aghraqna alakhareena
Then We drowned the disbelievers
Verse 82۞وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
Wainna min sheeAAatihi laibraheema
And indeed, among his kind was Abraham
Verse 83إِذۡ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلۡبٖ سَلِيمٍ
Ith jaa rabbahu biqalbin saleemin
When he came to his Lord with a sound heart
Verse 84إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعۡبُدُونَ
Ith qala liabeehi waqawmihi matha taAAbudoona
[And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship
Verse 85أَئِفۡكًا ءَالِهَةٗ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ
Aifkan alihatan doona Allahi tureedoona
Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire
Verse 86فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Fama thannukum birabbi alAAalameena
Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds
Verse 87فَنَظَرَ نَظۡرَةٗ فِي ٱلنُّجُومِ
Fanathara nathratan fee alnnujoomi
And he cast a look at the stars
Verse 88فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٞ
Faqala innee saqeemun
And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill
Verse 89فَتَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ مُدۡبِرِينَ
Fatawallaw AAanhu mudbireena
So they turned away from him, departing
Verse 90فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمۡ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ
Faragha ila alihatihim faqala ala takuloona
Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat
Verse 91مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنطِقُونَ
Ma lakum la tantiqoona
What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak
Verse 92فَرَاغَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ضَرۡبَۢا بِٱلۡيَمِينِ
Faragha AAalayhim darban bialyameeni
And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand
Verse 93فَأَقۡبَلُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ يَزِفُّونَ
Faaqbaloo ilayhi yaziffoona
Then the people came toward him, hastening
Verse 94قَالَ أَتَعۡبُدُونَ مَا تَنۡحِتُونَ
Qala ataAAbudoona ma tanhitoona
He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve
Verse 95وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ
WaAllahu khalaqakum wama taAAmaloona
While Allah created you and that which you do
Verse 96قَالُواْ ٱبۡنُواْ لَهُۥ بُنۡيَٰنٗا فَأَلۡقُوهُ فِي ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
Qaloo ibnoo lahu bunyanan faalqoohu fee aljaheemi
They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire
Verse 97فَأَرَادُواْ بِهِۦ كَيۡدٗا فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَ
Faaradoo bihi kaydan fajaAAalnahumu alasfaleena
And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased
Verse 98وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي سَيَهۡدِينِ
Waqala innee thahibun ila rabbee sayahdeeni
And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me
Verse 99رَبِّ هَبۡ لِي مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
Rabbi hab lee mina alssaliheena
My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous
Verse 100فَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمٖ
Fabashsharnahu bighulamin haleemin
So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy
Verse 101فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعۡيَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَيَّ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰ فِي ٱلۡمَنَامِ أَنِّيٓ أَذۡبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرۡ مَاذَا تَرَىٰۚ قَالَ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفۡعَلۡ مَا تُؤۡمَرُۖ سَتَجِدُنِيٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ
Falamma balagha maAAahu alssaAAya qala ya bunayya innee ara fee almanami annee athbahuka faonthur matha tara qala ya abati ifAAal ma tumaru satajidunee in shaa Allahu mina alssabireena
And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast
Verse 102فَلَمَّآ أَسۡلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلۡجَبِينِ
Falamma aslama watallahu liljabeeni
And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead
Verse 103وَنَٰدَيۡنَٰهُ أَن يَـٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ
Wanadaynahu an ya ibraheemu
We called to him, "O Abraham
Verse 104قَدۡ صَدَّقۡتَ ٱلرُّءۡيَآۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Qad saddaqta alrruya inna kathalika najzee almuhsineena
You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good
Verse 105إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡبَلَـٰٓؤُاْ ٱلۡمُبِينُ
Inna hatha lahuwa albalao almubeenu
Indeed, this was the clear trial
Verse 106وَفَدَيۡنَٰهُ بِذِبۡحٍ عَظِيمٖ
Wafadaynahu bithibhin AAatheemin
And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice
Verse 107وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
Watarakna AAalayhi fee alakhireena
And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations
Verse 108سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
Salamun AAala ibraheema
Peace upon Abraham
Verse 109كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Kathalika najzee almuhsineena
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good
Verse 110إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Innahu min AAibadina almumineena
Indeed, he was of Our believing servants
Verse 111وَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِإِسۡحَٰقَ نَبِيّٗا مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
Wabashsharnahu biishaqa nabiyyan mina alssaliheena
And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous
Verse 112وَبَٰرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسۡحَٰقَۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحۡسِنٞ وَظَالِمٞ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ مُبِينٞ
Wabarakna AAalayhi waAAala ishaqa wamin thurriyyatihima muhsinun wathalimun linafsihi mubeenun
And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself
Verse 113وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ
Walaqad mananna AAala moosa waharoona
And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron
Verse 114وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُمَا وَقَوۡمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
Wanajjaynahuma waqawmahuma mina alkarbi alAAatheemi
And We saved them and their people from the great affliction
Verse 115وَنَصَرۡنَٰهُمۡ فَكَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ
Wanasarnahum fakanoo humu alghalibeena
And We supported them so it was they who overcame
Verse 116وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَبِينَ
Waataynahuma alkitaba almustabeena
And We gave them the explicit Scripture
Verse 117وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ
Wahadaynahuma alssirata almustaqeema
And We guided them on the straight path
Verse 118وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
Watarakna AAalayhima fee alakhireena
And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations
Verse 119سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ
Salamun AAala moosa waharoona
Peace upon Moses and Aaron
Verse 120إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Inna kathalika najzee almuhsineena
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good
Verse 121إِنَّهُمَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Innahuma min AAibadina almumineena
Indeed, they were of Our believing servants
Verse 122وَإِنَّ إِلۡيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
Wainna ilyasa lamina almursaleena
And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers
Verse 123إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
Ith qala liqawmihi ala tattaqoona
When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah
Verse 124أَتَدۡعُونَ بَعۡلٗا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ
AtadAAoona baAAlan watatharoona ahsana alkhaliqeena
Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators
Verse 125ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمۡ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
Allaha rabbakum warabba abaikumu alawwaleena
Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers
Verse 126فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ
Fakaththaboohu fainnahum lamuhdaroona
And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment]
Verse 127إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
Illa AAibada Allahi almukhlaseena
Except the chosen servants of Allah
Verse 128وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
Watarakna AAalayhi fee alakhireena
And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations
Verse 129سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلۡ يَاسِينَ
Salamun AAala il yaseena
Peace upon Elias
Verse 130إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Inna kathalika najzee almuhsineena
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good
Verse 131إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Innahu min AAibadina almumineena
Indeed, he was of Our believing servants
Verse 132وَإِنَّ لُوطٗا لَّمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
Wainna lootan lamina almursaleena
And indeed, Lot was among the messengers
Verse 133إِذۡ نَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ
Ith najjaynahu waahlahu ajmaAAeena
[So mention] when We saved him and his family, all
Verse 134إِلَّا عَجُوزٗا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
Illa AAajoozan fee alghabireena
Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]
Verse 135ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ
Thumma dammarna alakhareena
Then We destroyed the others
Verse 136وَإِنَّكُمۡ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيۡهِم مُّصۡبِحِينَ
Wainnakum latamurroona AAalayhim musbiheena
And indeed, you pass by them in the morning
Verse 137وَبِٱلَّيۡلِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ
Wabiallayli afala taAAqiloona
And at night. Then will you not use reason
Verse 138وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
Wainna yoonusa lamina almursaleena
And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers
Verse 139إِذۡ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ
Ith abaqa ila alfulki almashhooni
[Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship
Verse 140فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُدۡحَضِينَ
Fasahama fakana mina almudhadeena
And he drew lots and was among the losers
Verse 141فَٱلۡتَقَمَهُ ٱلۡحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٞ
Failtaqamahu alhootu wahuwa muleemun
Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy
Verse 142فَلَوۡلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحِينَ
Falawla annahu kana mina almusabbiheena
And had he not been of those who exalt Allah
Verse 143لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطۡنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ
Lalabitha fee batnihi ila yawmi yubAAathoona
He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected
Verse 144۞فَنَبَذۡنَٰهُ بِٱلۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٞ
Fanabathnahu bialAAarai wahuwa saqeemun
But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill
Verse 145وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ شَجَرَةٗ مِّن يَقۡطِينٖ
Waanbatna AAalayhi shajaratan min yaqteenin
And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine
Verse 146وَأَرۡسَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِاْئَةِ أَلۡفٍ أَوۡ يَزِيدُونَ
Waarsalnahu ila miati alfin aw yazeedoona
And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more
Verse 147فَـَٔامَنُواْ فَمَتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ
Faamanoo famattaAAnahum ila heenin
And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time
Verse 148فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَ
Faistaftihim alirabbika albanatu walahumu albanoona
So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons
Verse 149أَمۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثٗا وَهُمۡ شَٰهِدُونَ
Am khalaqna almalaikata inathan wahum shahidoona
Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses
Verse 150أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنۡ إِفۡكِهِمۡ لَيَقُولُونَ
Ala innahum min ifkihim layaqooloona
Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say
Verse 151وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
Walada Allahu wainnahum lakathiboona
Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars
Verse 152أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَ
Astafa albanati AAala albaneena
Has He chosen daughters over sons
Verse 153مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ
Ma lakum kayfa tahkumoona
What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement
Verse 154أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Afala tathakkaroona
Then will you not be reminded
Verse 155أَمۡ لَكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٞ مُّبِينٞ
Am lakum sultanun mubeenun
Or do you have a clear authority
Verse 156فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبِكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
Fatoo bikitabikum in kuntum sadiqeena
Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful
Verse 157وَجَعَلُواْ بَيۡنَهُۥ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ نَسَبٗاۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمَتِ ٱلۡجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ
WajaAAaloo baynahu wabayna aljinnati nasaban walaqad AAalimati aljinnatu innahum lamuhdaroona
And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]
Verse 158سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Subhana Allahi AAamma yasifoona
Exalted is Allah above what they describe
Verse 159إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
Illa AAibada Allahi almukhlaseena
Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]
Verse 160فَإِنَّكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡبُدُونَ
Fainnakum wama taAAbudoona
So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship
Verse 161مَآ أَنتُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ
Ma antum AAalayhi bifatineena
You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him
Verse 162إِلَّا مَنۡ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
Illa man huwa sali aljaheemi
Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire
Verse 163وَمَامِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ
Wama minna illa lahu maqamun maAAloomun
[The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position
Verse 164وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ
Wainna lanahnu alssaffoona
And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]
Verse 165وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحُونَ
Wainna lanahnu almusabbihoona
And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah
Verse 166وَإِن كَانُواْ لَيَقُولُونَ
Wain kanoo layaqooloona
And indeed, the disbelievers used to say
Verse 167لَوۡ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكۡرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
Law anna AAindana thikran mina alawwaleena
If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples
Verse 168لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
Lakunna AAibada Allahi almukhlaseena
We would have been the chosen servants of Allah
Verse 169فَكَفَرُواْ بِهِۦۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ
Fakafaroo bihi fasawfa yaAAlamoona
But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know
Verse 170وَلَقَدۡ سَبَقَتۡ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
Walaqad sabaqat kalimatuna liAAibadina almursaleena
And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers
Verse 171إِنَّهُمۡ لَهُمُ ٱلۡمَنصُورُونَ
Innahum lahumu almansooroona
[That] indeed, they would be those given victory
Verse 172وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ
Wainna jundana lahumu alghaliboona
And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome
Verse 173فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ
Fatawalla AAanhum hatta heenin
So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time
Verse 174وَأَبۡصِرۡهُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَ
Waabsirhum fasawfa yubsiroona
And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see
Verse 175أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ
AfabiAAathabina yastaAAjiloona
Then for Our punishment are they impatient
Verse 176فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمۡ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ
Faitha nazala bisahatihim fasaa sabahu almunthareena
But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned
Verse 177وَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ
Watawalla AAanhum hatta heenin
And leave them for a time
Verse 178وَأَبۡصِرۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَ
Waabsir fasawfa yubsiroona
And see, for they are going to see
Verse 179سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلۡعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Subhana rabbika rabbi alAAizzati AAamma yasifoona
Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe
Verse 180وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
Wasalamun AAala almursaleena
And peace upon the messengers
Verse 181وَٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Waalhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena
And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds
Verse 182
